Refund policy

I’ve integrated the Custom Merchandise & Apparel into the Exceptions section as requested. This makes it crystal clear that these items are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.


ATO Audio – Return & Refund Policy

At ATO Audio, we handle two distinct types of products: curated vintage audio equipment and custom-made merchandise. Because these items are handled differently, please review the specific policies below.


1. Vintage Audio Equipment

Includes: Receivers, Speakers, and Physical Components.

  • 7-Day Return Window: You have 7 days after receiving your vintage equipment to request a return.

  • Restocking Fee: We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee on all stereo receivers to cover the costs of testing and re-listing.

  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the exact condition you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

  • How to Start: Contact us at ATOAudio1@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without a prior request will not be accepted.


2. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind, wrong size, or color preference:

  • Custom Merchandise & Apparel: Since these are printed on demand specifically for your order, they are final sale.

  • Custom-Built Cases: Any made-to-order wood or 3D-printed cases.

  • Sale Items & Gift Cards: All clearance or "as-is" items.


3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Applies to all products, including Apparel and Gear.

If your order arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or features a printing error, we will make it right at no cost to you.

  • Notification Window: Contact us within 30 days of delivery (7 days for vintage receivers).

  • Evidence Required: Email a photo of the damaged item and your Order ID to ATOAudio1@gmail.com.

  • Resolution: Upon verification, we will provide a free replacement or a full refund. For merchandise, you do not need to ship the item back.


4. Shipping & Lost Packages

  • Address Accuracy: ATO Audio is not responsible for orders that are undeliverable due to address errors. A reshipment fee may apply to send a returned package back out.

  • Lost Packages: Claims for items lost in transit must be submitted within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.


5. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Note: It can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us at ATOAudio1@gmail.com.
